The Movies that "Save" Us
I recently wrote a blog post talking about the profound impact that the movie “Good Will Hunting’ had on me in the most difficult year of my life. I believe it is safe to say that GWH “saved” me in some very real ways: http://tonykriz.com/?p=978
The post was surprisingly popular, so I thought I would throw the question out to my world on Facebook:
“Has there ever been a movie that has impacted you so deeply (almost beyond explanation), so much so that you could say the movie “saved” you in some way? I would love to know what your movie is.”

A couple of observations:
- A GREAT list.
- Many Robin Williams movies. Obviously we are all in a nostalgic mood with his passing.
- Several of these films are on my “All Time Top 40 Films”. I will go back through and mark those films with an asterisk (*).
